Vaughan Foam Buster helps control digester foam

Vaughan Co. has available a "Foam Buster" nozzle system that can help in controlling digester foam when all else fails.

The "Foam Buster" approach is particularly effective when used in conjunction with Vaughan's Rotamix systems, since Rotamix will rotate the upper surface of the tank beneath the stationary "Foam Buster" nozzle spray, allowing most of the upper digester surface foam to be broken down by the "Foam Buster" spray.

Furthermore, the "Foam Buster" approach uses digester sludge, thus avoiding any digester dilution problems. Nozzle plugging is avoided through careful nozzle sizing and through use of the Vaughan Chopper Pump. For more information on Vaughan Rotamix and the "Foam Buster" please contact us.
